Hi! Welcome to AsianDramaSummary!
Some of you are probably wondering who is writing these drama summaries and recaps, so here is a little bit about myself:
I am a young working professional currently located in New York City. Growing up, I've always gravitated to Asian dramas as a form of entertainment and stress relief. It brings me so much joy to be able to immerse myself in another character's story, and temporarily escape the confines of my own reality. Drama allows me to open my eyes to different perspectives, and to learn to dream a little bigger and wilder.
Hence, this bring me to the creation of AsianDramaSummary. Since I am fluent in Chinese and English, I thought I'd do my part to bridge the gap between the time a drama is initially broadcasted and when the same drama's English subtitles are released. I also plan on doing more than just Chinese drama summaries and recaps, so be on the lookout for some Taiwanese, Korean and even Japanese dramas. Everything on this site is curated based off of my own interests, so I might diversify if my interests wander. 😉
